All our hoodie patterns are free, and you can freely download them. We recommend yarn for all our patterns, but it's also important to consider the different benefits of yarn qualities.

If your goal is to make a warm hoodie, you should choose yarn with a high wool content. If the hoodie should be more temperate, it's important to find yarn that contains cotton. You can also choose to make a hoodie in pure cotton yarn, but be prepared for it to be relatively heavy. That's why we generally recommend a yarn quality that is a blend of wool and cotton.
