Mayflower Anyday Recycled Acrylic is a very soft yarn that comes in unique colors. It is spun from 100% recycled fibers, which are surplus acrylic fibers from the factory's own yarn production.

Recycled Acrylic is Oeko-Tex certified, and in many ways a Limited Edition yarn. Since the surplus fibers exclusively come from our supplier's own production, it means that the yarn's colors depend on which fibers have been in surplus. Some colors can therefore be difficult to recreate, just as certain colors only come in a very limited batch. For this reason, we recommend that you buy enough yarn to complete your project.

Since the yarn is composed of surplus fibers in different colors, several of the colors are spun with a composition of different colors, which gives the yarn a beautiful play of colors. The mottled expression works really well in very simple garter stitch or stockinette stitch – or for example crocheted in granny stripes or granny squares for a soft and cozy blanket.

Recycled Acrylic is a soft and not least affordable yarn, which is delightful to work with, and comes in large skeins of 100 g. The yarn fits on needles 4½-5 mm, and with a Knitting gauge on 17 x 24 rows it fits a wide range of Patterns. The soft and light yarn can easily be used for both clothing, interior, and accessories.

For example, use Recycled Acrylic as a substitute for wool yarn if you are allergic to animal fibers. With Recycled Acrylic, you can knit or crochet everything from cozy blankets, cushions, and hats to warm sweaters and lovely cardigans. The yarn has good durability, retains its shape, and is machine washable at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle.
