The Agnethe blouse has a unique cut, as it is knitted in garter stitch, and the knitting direction goes across from side seam to side seam. The yarn also adds something special to the design of the blouse, as the continuous color change adds further facets to the beautiful design of the blouse.

The front and back of the blouse consist of two rectangles in garter stitch, worked with short rows. This technique creates a total of four triangles on each piece, resulting in a stunning pattern. The pattern guides you through the technique. To assemble the sweater, sew the front and back together and knit up the sleeves in each armhole. The sleeve edges and bottom edge are worked in ribbing, while garter stitch is used for the neck edge.

The Agnethe blouse is knitted in the wonderfully colorful Mayflower Taormina, which is the most beautiful alpaca blend. Taormina is therefore both uniquely soft and durable. The yarn has a unique structure, as it contains several different colors in one, all of which are carefully matched to each other and complement each other beautifully. Taormina has one long color change that varies between short and wide stripes in either muted or more vibrant colors.

With this design and the fabulous Taormina, you get a unique knitting experience and not least the Agnethe blouse.

Gauge: 20 sts and 37 rows (= 18½ retrille) in garter st on needle size 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
