Mayflower Premium Sock Wool Lake is a classic sock yarn of high quality with exceptional, clear colors, stripes, and carefully coordinated color gradation. As the name 'Lake' suggests, the yarn's unique and distinct colors and patterns are inspired by lakes around the world under the sky between fields, trees, and mountains. All the colors in the Lake series have the same color gradation and pattern repeat, which are carefully selected and meticulously coordinated.
Sock Wool consists of different series of quality sock yarn with color changes, all spun at an Italian mill that specializes in high-quality sock yarn with unique print patterns in beautiful colors. Sock Wool has many other uses besides socks, and can, for example, be used for hats, scarves, leg warmers, and other items that need to be both warm and durable.
The yarn is spun from mulesing-free, South American wool, whose long, soft fibers are warm and
durable, and polyamide, which makes the socks long-lasting and keeps them in shape, even though they are washed often. The yarn is superwash-treated, which makes it easy to wash the socks in the machine according to the recommended washing instructions.
To get completely identical socks with Premium Sock Wool, you should start at the same color change in the yarn, but due to the carefully coordinated color sequences and patterns, it is still quite clear that the socks belong together.
