Cardigans, jacket for parties or the lightweight summer sweater

We have put together a collection of free knitting and crochet patterns that are perfect for summer's warm days, when it's most enjoyable to stay in the shade with your handwork. Everything from crocheted sweaters, small knitted summer blouses to dishcloths and grill gloves. Whether for everyday wear or a special occasion, you'll find elegant cardigans or a small blouse for beach outings. It's all available right here on the site. The perfect yarn fibers for summer

If you're planning to knit summer clothing, choose your yarn carefully. Thick wool yarn is cozy but less suitable for summer knits. Instead, there are numerous fibers that are delightful to wear in summer heat and can even help regulate body temperature, preventing you from getting too hot.

Cotton yarn, such as Cotton 8/4, is the most classic summer yarn because cotton is fantastic on warm days. Cotton doesn't trap heat and offers excellent breathability, allowing moisture to evaporate freely from the body. As an alternative to cotton, there are several other fibers that are specifically suitable for spring - for example, viscose and lyocell.

At the same time, you shouldn't rule out wool completely when knitting for summer. Wool also has excellent breathability, and thin wool yarn can be comfortably used on mild days.

So, there's really no excuse; it's time to get started.
