The neck warmer is knitted from the back towards the front piece. stitches stitches are cast on using the Italian cast-on method, and a twisted rib edge is knitted. Continue in double seed stitch until the back is finished. Then, stitches stitches are bound off for the neck opening, and the shoulder pieces are knitted separately, with increases to create the neck curve. The two shoulder pieces are joined again for the front piece, which is also knitted in double seed stitch. Decreases are made on each side of the front piece. The front piece is finished with a twisted rib edge and Italian bind-off. Finally, stitches stitches are picked up along the neck opening, which is knitted in twisted rib and finished with double knitting and Italian bind-off.
