The sweater is knitted from top to bottom, where the back piece is knitted first and then stitches stitches are picked up for the left and right shoulder piece respectively. Short rows are knitted to create the shoulder slope and increases to form the neckline. The two shoulder pieces are joined to form the front piece, which is then joined with the back piece to form the body. The body is extended in pattern knitting and finished with twisted rib and Italian bind-off. After finishing the body, stitches stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knitted in double moss stitch, and finally stitches stitches are picked up for the neckband, which is knitted in twisted rib and folded into a double neckband.
