The sweater is knit from top to bottom. There is fighting stitches Up with Judy's Magic lookup, half of which make up the back and half of the stitches become shoulder and neckline.
First, knit the back piece with turning sticks and then back and forth over the stitches. Then knit the left and right shoulder pieces with turning sticks and decreases for the neckline. The two shoulder pieces are assembled into the front piece, which is subsequently assembled with the back piece and forms the body. The body ends with a ribbed and Italian closure. That is gathered stitches Up to the neckline, which is knit in rib and knit down before the stitches are closed off.
Finally, knit the sleeves. Knit turn sticks to create the shoulder slope before knitting around and the sleeves end with a ribbed and Italian closure.
