Construction:
The sweater is knitted from top to bottom. It is cast on using Judy’s magic cast on, with half of the stitches forming the back and the other half forming the shoulders and neck edge.
First, the back piece is knitted while the stitches for the shoulders and neck edge are put on hold. When the back piece is finished, the left and then the right shoulder piece are knitted, with short rows and increases for the neckline. The two shoulder pieces are joined to form the front piece, which is then joined with the back piece to form the body. The body is finished with ribbing and an Italian bind-off.
Stitches are picked up for the neck edge, which is knitted in ribbing and folded down to a double neck edge before binding off. Finally, the sleeves are knitted. These are knitted with short rows to create the shoulder slope and then knitted in the round, with decreases on the underside of the sleeve. The sleeves are finished with ribbing and an Italian bind-off.

Size guide:
The sweater can be knitted in 4 different sizes XS-S (M-L) XL-2XL (3XL-4XL) corresponding to a circumference of the sweater of 105 (120) 135 (150). The sweater is designed to be oversized with a positive ease of 20-30 cm, but it can be knitted with a larger or smaller positive ease, depending on the desired look.
Example: If you measure 90 cm around the chest, we recommend knitting a size M-L with a positive ease of 30 cm. If a less oversized look is desired, it can be knitted in size XS-S with a positive ease of 15 cm.
