When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Blouse in rib with pattern
Patent is a versatile and beautiful knitting technique, which is highlighted in this lovely blouse. In this design, patent knitting is used to create a fantastic pattern, where stripes of patent knitting twist across the body and sleeves of the blouse. These simple details give the blouse a timeless look, where the beauty of simplicity is emphasized.
The blouse is knitted in two threads Mayflower Super Kid Silk, which are spun with 76% kid mohair and 24% silk. A combination that is perfect for light blouses, as the yarn quality is characterized by being wonderfully airy and, not least, delightfully soft.
Patent knitting can be a challenging knitting technique that requires a bit of practice to master. At the same time, right- and left-leaning decreases must also be knitted, so it is an advantage if you have a grasp of the basic knitting techniques. However, you do not need to be a knitting expert. The simplicity of the blouse helps make the project and techniques much easier.
We have chosen to design the blouse in a summery and beautiful orange, but Super Kid Silk is also available in a multitude of other colors.
