Lyocell is one of the fibers of the future and also known under the brand name TENCEL™. Lyocell is a shiny viscose fiber based on organic and renewable wood fibers, often from eucalyptus trees. These are converted into long fibers that can subsequently be spun into soft, durable yarn. The production of lyocell fibers takes place in a gentle and environmentally friendly process in a closed loop, where the production materials are reused.

With a Knitting gauge of 20 m x 28 rows, Georgina can be used for many different designs. It is particularly good for simple knitting, such as garter and stockinette stitch, where the color play will really come into its own. It is ideal for soft clothing, such as a sweater or cardigan. Georgina can be used for both knitting and crocheting on needles/hooks 4.5-5 mm, but knit/crochet a little tightly to avoid the yarn stretching too much after washing. Also be aware that the yarn should be hand washed and dried flat in shape.
