Maple Mountain cardigan
Cute cardigan for children aged 0-4 years. The cardigan has a simple design with narrow stripes and buttons that do not go all the way down.
The Lønneberg cardigan is worked in stripes and stockinette stitch from the bottom up to the armholes, where the work rests, while the sleeves are worked from the bottom up. When the sleeves are finished, join all pieces on one needle and continue working in garter stitch and stripes. The yoke is worked with raglan decreases. Pick up stitches in the neck opening and button plackets for the edges. The cardigan is fastened with buttons, but only slightly above the center, which gives it a different look.
The cardigan is a relatively easy project to start and the result is wonderfully soft. The Lønneberg cardigan is knitted in Mayflower 1 Class Cashmere, which is a really soft and delicious yarn with good breathability and durability that can be used for both socks and other garments such as this cardigan. The yarn gets its wonderful softness from the cashmere content.
