The single pointed needles are made of birch tree, which is a very strong material. The natural birch tree is light and the knitting needles are therefore light and lovely to work with. The birch tree feels warm and soft in the hands, making the needles even more comfortable to knit with and you can easily knit for several hours in a row. The smooth surface of the sticks makes the yarn and stitches slide easily on the sticks while knitting.
