The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A knitted blouse doesn't have to be heavy or winter-like, and that's why we chose to design this lovely blouse with bare shoulders and straps. This gives the blouse a lighter and more youthful appearance, setting it apart from most other knitted blouses.
The blouse is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care, which is 100% warm and breathable wool. However, it is worth noting that even though Easy Care is wool yarn, the blouse can be machine washed and tumble dried, as it is superwash-treated. In short, you avoid the hassle of having to hand wash the blouse.
Note: The original design was made in Easy Care color 37, which unfortunately has been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color 76, which resembles the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose your own color with a click on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
