Cardamom Slipover Pattern
This slipover is constructed with a saddle shoulder, where first stitches stitches are cast on for the back piece, after which it is knitted back and forth while the shoulders and neck opening are created through increases. Once the yoke is assembled and knitted, the work is divided so that the front and back pieces are knitted separately. The body is reassembled while the armholes are defined and finished on Circular Needle, allowing the length of the slipover to be adjusted. The body is finished with a twisted rib edge and double knitting. Then stitches stitches are picked up in the neck opening, which is knitted in twisted rib and finished with double knitting. Finally, stitches stitches are picked up in the armholes, which are also knitted in twisted rib and finished with double knitting and Italian bind-off.
