When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Description
Description
This beautiful cardigan is knitted in the lovely Mayflower Super Kid Silk, which is an exclusive yarn quality made of 76% mohair and 24% silk. A delightful combination that gives this cardigan a light and airy appearance.
The cardigan gains extra airiness from the choice of needles, as it is knitted on needles size 4½ and 5, making it a relatively quick knitting project for the impatient knitter.
The cardigan is luxurious, and you won't doubt that when you touch the finished result, and the luxurious appearance is further highlighted by the simple design.
The cable pattern is an exciting and fun technique, made with a cable needle, where stitches is alternately placed in front and behind the work. The pattern is described in a diagram in the recipe, and you don't need to be an expert at knitting with a cable needle to knit this cardigan.
