#HasmarkSweater is worked top-down in stockinette stitch with the finest cables on the sleeves and sides of both the front and back. The cables are a mix of long and short, which gives a nice effect, and the cables are very prominent in combination with the stockinette stitch.

First work the back piece down to the armhole, then cast on stitches in the shoulders for first the right and then the left front piece, and work cables at the sides and purl in stockinette stitch between the cables. Join the fronts and work down to the armhole, then join the front and back together. A wide ribbed edge is worked at the bottom, and the neck edge is also ribbed.

Pick up stitches for sleeves in the armholes and continue the beautiful cable work on both sleeves. The sleeves are finished with a wide rib.

The #HasmarkSweater is knitted in the extremely comfortable Mayflower Amalfi, which is spun from 52% cotton and 48% viscose. The yarn has good weight and therefore gives the sweater a nice drape. Amalfi's amazing softness from the bamboo viscose makes the sweater really nice to wear and touch. As both cotton and bamboo viscose are breathable and moisture-absorbing, the sweater is also great for hot summer days.
