When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Fantastically soft and delicious men's sweater with stripes in old pink and navy blue with set-in sleeves. The sweater is worked from the bottom up to the armhole, where the front and back are worked separately. The sweater has stripes on the front and back that alternate in different thicknesses. The base color is in thicker stripes, and the sleeves are worked in the base color only.
The sleeves are worked straight in rib, as is the bottom of the sweater. At the neck edge, stitches are cast on for a crocheted, folded rib edge.
The sweater is knitted in the wool yarn Mayflower Easy Care, which can be machine washed and tumble dried on a wool program. The yarn is a soft and slightly stretchy wool quality that feels great to wear.
NOTE: The original design is made in Mayflower Easy Care color. 095. Unfortunately, this color has been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color. 048, which is similar to the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose your own colors by clicking 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color card.
