The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

This knitted beanie is designed in the ultra-soft and lightweight Mayflower New Sky, a yarn quality consisting of 42% alpaca, 42% wool and 16% polyamide.
This composition gives the yarn unique qualities, as you get a feeling of exclusive quality from the high quality alpaca and wool content, while nylon helps make the yarn durable. The result is a yarn quality that feels light and delicate, but is actually quite durable.
The beanie has a baggy look, which is very popular among younger people. At the same time, it's also super comfortable, and although it's light and airy, it's also incredibly warm. Mayflower New Sky has a running length of 150 meters per 50 grams, which gives the yarn a certain thickness, while still maintaining the lightweight quality.
