Smart and short jacket for juniors. It is crocheted with two strands of the same quality – one strand of Taormina with a stripe pattern repeat and one strand of Taormina Shade, which is solid-colored, slightly mottled, and used for the edges in this design. The jacket is crocheted from the bottom up, while the sleeves are crocheted separately and sewn on before the edges are knitted at the end.

Mayflower Taormina and Taormina Shade are both characterized by being luxurious, soft, and exceptionally lightweight alpaca blends with high durability in a warm quality that is OEKO-Tex certified.

Taormina can be replaced with Mayflower Anyday Grande if the jacket is to be made for a child with wool sensitivity.

Gauge: 18 sts (= 9 sc and 9 ch) and 15 rows in pattern with double yarn and crochet hook. 4½ mm = 10 x 10 cm
