The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

This sweater, with its simple design, can fit into any wardrobe. It is designed with raglan sleeves, which makes it an easy knitting project with minimal assembly, and is knitted from the bottom up.
The raglan sleeves on this sweater are particularly noteworthy, as they are designed with a beautiful rib detail that starts at the shoulder and extends all the way down along the sides of the sweater. These rib details are complemented by the rib edges along the blouse's neckline, bottom, and armholes. The rib edge in the neckline is also finished with a small fold.
We have made two different versions of the sweater. The pink sweater is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care, while the gray one is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care Tweed. The yarn qualities have the same yardage and Knitting gauge, so you just need to decide whether you want a solid color or tweed version of the sweater.
Both yarn qualities will give you a wonderful result. They are both soft and comfortable to wear, as they have a lovely natural breathability. Both Mayflower Easy Care and Easy Care Tweed can also be machine washed, so it is also easy to maintain your sweater in everyday life.
