Swirl Sweater Pattern
This Pattern combines different forms of braiding, cables, and textured knitting into a sweater knitted from top to bottom. First, the back piece is knitted, after which stitches is picked up for the shoulders. The front and back pieces are joined and knitting continues on Circular Needle until the sweater reaches full length. Finally, the double-folded neckline is knitted and the sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch, with short rows to shape the shoulder caps.
The textured knitting on the slipover is described through charts, where each 1x1 square represents 1 stitch on the needle.
