When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Alma's soul warmer provides warmth for your arms and shoulders and is knitted in a combination of lovely qualities.
The shawl warmer is worked in stockinette stitch from the top down with raglan increases and ribbed edges in twisted rib. The shawl warmer stops at the chest and is knitted with wide sleeves and no decreases.
Alma's shawl warmer is worked with 1 strand Mayflower 1 Class Cashmere and 1 strand Mayflower Super Kid Silk. The result is therefore really comfortable and your soul warmer will feel great to wear.
If you combine yarns in different colors, your soul warmer will have a nice, mottled color expression with depth in the colors.
