A lovely, full blouse with ¾ sleeves, knitted on circular needles in double yarn with a beautiful textured pattern.

The soft blouse is worked from the bottom up in faux patent, which gives it a delicate look. At the armholes, the blouse is divided into front and back pieces, which are finished separately. The pieces are knitted together at the shoulders and a fine ribbed edge is knitted in the round neckline. Cast on stitches in the armholes for dome sleeves. The bottom edge and sleeve edges are worked in the same pattern but with a smaller needle size than the rest of the blouse.

The Annabeth blouse is incredibly comfortable to wear as it is knitted in one strand Mayflower Venezia and one strand Mayflower Super Kid Silk. Both yarns are soft and warm qualities that together create a fabulous blouse where comfort is paramount. The combination of a bulky yarn with the thinner mohair yarn gives a wonderful effect.

Since the blouse is knitted in a double yarn, you can use two different colors to create a blouse with a beautiful play of colors. Venezia already has a mottled look, and with a second shade of Super Kid Silk you can achieve an even greater color effect.
