Anne-Cathrine Sweater – Amalfi Style is a reinterpretation of our popular Anne Cathrine Sweater, which was originally knitted in Mayflower Easy Care.

While the original sweater was knitted in wool yarn, this version is knitted in Mayflower Amalfi, which is a blend of cotton and bamboo viscose. This gives a much more summery version of the Anne-Catherine Sweater, as cotton and bamboo viscose are good for temperature regulation. 

The sweater is designed with the most beautiful lace pattern, which makes the sweater extra light and airy. The summery expression is further enhanced by the light 3/4 sleeves, which are perfect for the warm days of the year. To improve the fit, an elastic cord is also threaded through the ribbed edges of the sleeves so they fit snugly to the arms. 

The Anne-Cathrine Sweater is knitted from the bottom up, with each part knitted individually. This results in a bit of assembly work at the end, but the knitting process itself is made super easy and manageable. 

This Pattern is primarily intended for experienced knitters who want to work with lace patterns. Knitting is done following an easy-to-understand chart, which is naturally included in the pattern.
