When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

The yarn quality is a popular choice for baby knitting, as Easy Care is both machine washable and tumble dryable. In addition, the yarn is also characterized by being very soft - even on delicate baby skin.
Wool yarn is a good choice for this type of baby clothing, as wool fibers are wonderfully warm. This makes the coverall extra good for naps in the pram on chilly days of the year - or just for regular play on the floor, which can easily be chilly.
