Beate Sweater is a lovely sweater that is very easy to knit, as it is made top down with raglan increases. Additionally, the sweater is knitted with several lovely details, for even though the sweater is simple, it is far from completely classic.

The sweater is made with a high, ribbed turtleneck, where the fit is improved with short rows in the neck. The collar is complemented by the sweater's sleeves, which also have beautiful details in the form of a simple ridge pattern.

The sweater itself is knitted in Mayflower Taormina, while the ribbed edges are made in Mayflower Easy Care Classic. Here, it is naturally also an option to knit the entire sweater in the same yarn quality if you want a simpler project.

Taormina is characterized by its beautiful color shifts, which give the Beate Sweater so much personality. The choice of yarn also means that every single Beate Sweater becomes completely unique, as it will never be possible to knit two identical sweaters.
