The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Knit blouse with raglan sleeves and tuck pattern, which gives the blouse a nice structure with a slight level difference between the tucks and the smooth knitting. The simple relief pattern provides a fine striped effect, as it causes the stitches to pull together slightly.
The blouse is knitted on Circular Needle from the bottom up to the armhole, after which sleeves are knitted. Then all parts are gathered and knitted together up to the neckline with raglan decreases. At the neck, sleeves, and bottom, a ribbed edge is made.
NOTE: The original design is knitted in Mayflower Cotton 1, which unfortunately is discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend Mayflower Alliance Fine. Always remember to make a knitting sample before starting the project to ensure that the knitting gauge and thus the finished measurements hold. Also, be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the color you like the most.
