When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

This blouse gets its feminine look from the lace pattern on the 3/4 sleeves, the v-neck and the fine wool yarn.
The blouse is worked in the round from the bottom up. At the armholes, rest the work while knitting the sleeves and then join the entire piece. At the neckline, pick up stitches for rib.
The blouse is worked in the very exclusive and lightweight Mayflower Kid Silk, which is spun from 70% kid mohair and 30% silk. A wonderfully fluffy, soft and woolly yarn quality that makes this blouse a dream to wear. The yarn comes in a huge variety of colors, so the only challenge with this blouse is finding the right color.
