Crochet a clutch that you can use for multiple occasions - for example, as a purse or to store smaller items in a larger bag. The finished clutch measures approx. 26 x 14 cm and is attached with a zipper at the top.

The clutch is crocheted with 2 strands in different yarn qualities: 1 strand Mayflower Cotton 8/8 and 1 strand of the wool Mayflower Birmingham. With this combination you get a firm and soft structure with a woolly look.

To work the clutch in the round from the bottom up, first work a chain stitch row and then single crochet on both sides of the chain stitch row, doubling the number of stitches. Sew the zipper to the top edge of the clutch.

By combining threads in different colors, you can give your clutch a nice, mottled look with a nice play of colors.
