A long cardigan is always great in the winter months, and this cardigan is guaranteed to keep you warm as it is knitted in a blackberry pattern. Mayflower Easy Care Classic. This yarn quality consists of 100% pure new wool and is the medium thickness in the Mayflower Easy Care yarn series.
This cardigan has a classic look, which is achieved by knitting with a blackberry pattern. The blackberry pattern is an incredibly beautiful knitting technique that also gives the finished cardigan more body and detail. The cardigan itself is fairly simple, and it's worth noting the inset pockets, which have internal pocket pouches. These are highlighted by a small ribbed edge, which goes well with the blackberry pattern.
The pattern for this cardigan is easy to read, but the blackberry pattern can be challenging as you can't drop stitches while knitting the pattern. However, it's also a fantastic knitting technique with so many possibilities, so this might be the perfect pattern if you want to challenge yourself and create a beautiful cardigan.
NOTE: This design is part of our archive patterns. These may have been designed in discontinued yarn qualities or otherwise have lost their relevance. Please note that we unfortunately cannot offer support for patterns in the archive.
