The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Charming top and cardigan set in a decorative lace pattern that can be worn together or separately. The use of one color allows you to fully focus on the beautiful lace pattern.
Both pieces are worked from the bottom up. The top has raglan decreases in the yoke, while the cardigan is worked separately and then sewn together. Then cast on stitches for button posts and make buttonholes.
Top and cardigan are worked in the soft cotton yarn Mayflower Cotton 8/4. The yarn has good breathability and doesn't get too warm, making it a great choice for the active girl who needs to be able to move around in her clothes. The design is really nice with the fine pattern, which is quite simple to make. As an added bonus, the cotton yarn is machine washable, making it easy to get the garment clean again.
Cotton 8/4 is available in a range of beautiful colors.
