The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Christel jackets
The Christel jacket is truly unique with its slanted cut and beautiful pleats on the sleeves. The perfect knitting project for the adventurous knitter, which is why we've chosen to knit it in a wild pink color with a pop of color.
The asymmetrical shape of the jacket gives a nice slit at the front, which also emphasizes the fit of the jacket at the waist. The jacket follows the body, but at the same time creates a contrast with the loose balloon shape of the sleeves. In addition, the sleeves also gain additional width from the pleats on the upper arms.
The Christel jacket is knitted in Mayflower Sweet, which is a combination of 85% wool and 15% polyamide with a running length of 150 meters per 50 grams. The yarn gives the jacket a delicate and airy look with a fluffy sheen from the soft wool.
