The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Classic with classic on! This clean and simple sweater is the epitome of simple and classic.
The model is knitted in stockinette stitch, has a deep V-neck and ribbing on all edges, which accentuates the classic look and gives the sweater an extra stretchy edge.
NOTE: The original design is knitted in Mayflower Cotton 2, which has unfortunately been discontinued. As a replacement we recommend Mayflower Alliance. Always remember to make a swatch before you start your project to make sure that the gauge, and therefore the finished measurements, are correct. Also, be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the colors you like the most.
