When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A wool cardigan for children with fine lace details on the sleeves, back and bottom of the cardigan above the ribbed edge. The cardigan has a nice and simple design and is fastened with buttons.
The cardigan is worked top down in stockinette stitch with raglan increases in the yoke. Let the sleeve sts rest while the body is finished and finished with a ribbed edge.
The cardigan has a nice volume and weight, as it is knitted in a combination of 1 strand Mayflower Baby Alpaca and 1 strand Mayflower Super Kid Silk. The result is a really soft and fluffy cardigan with good body and natural weight from the alpaca yarn. The trailing strand of mohair yarn gives a fluffy look.
