The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Cardigan, which is knitted from the bottom up in stockinette stitch and with cables in the front edges.
The back piece and the front pieces are knitted separately and joined at the shoulders. The sleeves are knitted from the bottom up and sewn into the armholes.
The cardigan is open and therefore not fitted with buttons. The cardigan has a light texture as it is knitted in Mayflower London Merino Fine, which is spun from 100% fine and soft merino wool. The wool yarn makes the cardigan wonderfully soft, warm, and breathable, making it nice to use all year round. Since London Merino Fine is one of our finest and softest wool yarns, the cardigan will feel pleasantly soft and lovely to wear. The yarn is available in a multitude of colors and can therefore be knitted in both classic shades as well as strong and more vibrant colors.
