A simple yet feminine sweater with a delicate, wavy lace pattern at the hem and sleeve edges. The sweater is for children aged 2-8 years and is knitted in a really lovely yarn combination.

The Last Pearl sweater is worked from the bottom up, starting with the bottom lace pattern, which forms a nice beginning in waves. Then continue in stockinette stitch up to the armholes, where the work is divided into front and back pieces. These are worked until they are the right length and then joined at the shoulders. The sleeves are worked from the bottom up and then sewn on at the armholes. The neck is worked on resting stitches in stockinette stitch to create a folded neck collar.

The children's sweater is knitted in a really nice combination of Mayflower Easy Care and Mayflower Super Kid Silk. You are always sure to get a nice and warm result when you combine these qualities. The sweater will be soft, warm and breathable - perfect for a child who needs to be kept warm, but also needs to be able to get rid of any excess heat when the child is active, e.g. playing, running or cycling.

The last pearl sweater
