Beautiful blouse with a boat neck and a decorative lace pattern at the bottom of the body and sleeves.

The blouse is worked from the top down. At the top, the cast-on edge is worked as a horse stitch cast-on. The blouse is divided at the armholes and while the sleeve sts are resting, the body is worked. Then work the sleeves with a fine balloon effect. At the bottom of the body and sleeves is a lace pattern worked according to the chart and a narrow 1/1 rib.

The Esther blouse is worked in Mayflower Alliance Fine, which is a lovely cotton blend and a great alternative to wool. Alliance Fine makes the blouse soft and lightweight, and it won't be too warm to wear. The yarn has a glossy texture, which gives the Esther blouse the final touch.
