When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Evelyn Cardigan - Amalfi Style is a simple basic pattern that gives you a great everyday cardigan that can be worn with most outfits. The original Evelyn Cardigan was knitted in Mayflower Cotton Merino, while this version is knitted in our delicious Mayflower Amalfi.
Amalfi is a lovely blend of cotton and viscose. None of these fibers are particularly heat-insulating, which is why this version of the cardigan is perfect for the summer months, when you might need a warm cardigan on cool days.
The cardigan is knitted from the top down, while the sleeves are made with raglan increases, creating a neat transition between yoke and sleeves. The fit is further enhanced by the cardigan's ribbed edges, which are made by alternating knit and purl.
Evelyn Cardigan - Amalfi Style is a relatively simple pattern and does not contain any difficult techniques. It is especially easy to follow because it is knitted top-down, making it assembly-free.
