An elegant and classic suit jacket never goes out of style, and a knitted suit jacket adds an extra touch of craftsmanship to fashion. This suit jacket is knitted and shaped as if it were tailor-made. Therefore, there are a lot of increases and decreases along the way. The jacket is knitted in double seed stitch on 4.5 mm needles, which is a little too small for the yarn, but it creates the right look, so the jacket looks like fabric instead of knit. The suit jacket is knitted in fronts, back and sleeves separately. Once all the pieces are knitted separately, it is sewn together from the wrong side, after which the collar and trims are knitted on at the end. The model is knitted a bit "too small" because it gives a bit in use and in washing, and needs to be shaped when damp. Therefore, it is recommended that it is hand washed first before use. When the garment dries, it should be shaped and molded to the user.
