Frida sweater junior is a lovely woolly sweater for children aged 2-12 years with a large zig-zag pattern in the yoke, and the same pattern is also knitted in at the bottom of both the body and sleeves. The pattern is knitted according to a chart with three different colors. This means you can mix and match your own favorite colors to create a unique sweater.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. At the armholes, the body is shirred while the sleeves are worked. The entire piece is then joined on a circular needle and the yoke is worked with raglan decreases. All edges are worked in rib.

This lovely children's sweater is worked with Mayflower Easy Care, which is spun from 100% wool. The wool yarn is soft and perfect for a sweater like this. The yarn ensures a sweater with a nice fullness that you can still breathe in. Easy Care is available in a multitude of different colors, so you can easily find nice colors that will match each other nicely in the pattern. You can also choose to knit with tweed yarn, as Mayflower Easy Care Tweed has the same knitting tension and running length.

Frida sweater junior is also available in an adult version knitted in Mayflower Easy Care Classic.
