The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Potholders
Crochet potholders in retro patterns and colors, crocheted with thick cotton yarn to ensure you don't burn your fingers.
The potholders are crocheted from the inside out, continuously changing colors to form patterns. The round version is crocheted using single crochet stitches only, while the square version also requires double crochet stitches. In both, a decorative border is crocheted at the end and a loop is also made for hanging.
The potholders are crocheted in Mayflower Cotton 8/8 Big, which is a thicker version of the classic 8/4. 8/8 Big is therefore very suitable for potholders, as the use of the even thicker yarn can help ensure that the potholders protect even better against, for example, a hot hot plate. The cotton yarn gives a firm and beautiful result that holds its shape well and is easy to crochet with. The cotton yarn is also machine washable, making it easy to clean and dry.
You can choose from a lot of different colors, and unfortunately, it won't be a problem to find colors that match your kitchen. Of course, the potholders can also be crocheted in just one color.
