Warm and soft mittens crocheted for the smallest members of the family, and the mittens can also be made in a size to fit children up to 2 years old. The mittens are held in place by cord stoppers, which also makes it easy to adjust according to wrist thickness.
The mittens are worked back and forth in an easy technique, working in the back loop. This automatically creates a beautiful ribbed effect.
Once the mittens are finished and sewn together, crochet a tie for each mitten by working edge stitches in a chain of chain stitches.
The mittens are crocheted in Mayflower London Merino, which is the ideal yarn for baby and children's mittens. The soft merino wool keeps your hands warm and the mittens feel great to wear.
