These crocheted pumpkins are the perfect autumn project before Halloween.
The pumpkin can be crocheted in five different sizes according to the same basic recipe. The pumpkin gets a nice rib effect as it is crocheted in either the rear or anterior stitch. Subsequently, the pumpkin is mounted with a crocheted stem, which gives a nice and more natural expression.
The pumpkin is crocheted in Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is the ideal crochet yarn for a project like this. The yarn is nice to work with and has a strong and firm structure, which gives the finished result a good team. The yarn is also available in a wealth of beautiful colors, so that there are, for example, more shades in the orange.
