When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A necessary item for all babies is bibs, and you can't have too many. The bib should be both soft and have good absorbency, as well as be able to withstand washing and, not least, frequent washing.
These crocheted bibs in the charming retro style meet all the requirements and are also easy to make. The pattern includes different versions and different designs, where you decide which one you prefer to make and which colors you want to use. Some close with ties and some with a button. The patterns can be made in several colors, and of course, they can also be crocheted in just one color. Some are a bit decorated and suit a little girl well, while others are more simple and will suit a little boy better.
The bibs get their good qualities from the choice of yarn. They are crocheted in the cotton yarn Mayflower Cotton 8/4. The yarn has really good absorbency, can be machine washed, is soft, and comes in a multitude of different colors. Alternatively, you can also knit the bibs in the organic Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic, which is GOTS certified and with the same Knitting gauge.
