When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Retro-style crochet bikini and sun hat.
The bikini top is crocheted in the round, which allows you to change colors along the way to achieve the striped look, and finally the pieces are crocheted together with straps. The bikini bottoms are worked from the top down, also in stripes. The sun hat consists of six triangular squares that are sewn together and a crocheted brim is added.
Both models can be crocheted in stripes or in solid colors. With the yarn Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which comes in a myriad of colors, there is an incredible number of color combinations.
The yarn has a firm structure, which gives a beautiful result - especially for sun hats. The cotton yarn is breathable and not too warm, which is ideal for designs like these that are meant to be worn on summer days and shouldn't be too hot to wear.
