The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Crochet carpet
Round rug that is crocheted in multiple colors, creating an interesting pattern while also using different crochet techniques.
The rug is worked in the round by starting in the center and working in the round from there using single crochet and various double crochet stitches. If you know the techniques, you can easily join in and crochet a beautiful rug for your home. The diameter will be around 75 cm.
The yarn you need is the soft and durable Mayflower Cotton 8/8 Big, which is the thicker version of the classic 8/4 cotton yarn. This means you get a wonderfully firm and solid carpet, as the yarn has a firm structure and therefore holds its shape well for a long time. The colors also stay beautiful for a long time, and you can even choose from a variety of beautiful colors. For this version, five different colors are used, but it's entirely up to you whether you want to use even more or keep the rug more neutral in just one color.
NOTE: The original design was made in colors that have unfortunately been discontinued. As a replacement, we have chosen colors that are similar to the discontinued ones. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the image. You can choose your own colors by clicking 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color card.
