The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Crocheted cat basket
Crochet a nice and plush cat basket in Mayflower Chuncky Mega. The very thick Chuncky Mega is best suited for arm crocheting.
Since you start with the base of the basket, you can easily make the base larger if you need a bigger basket.
Chuncky Mega is 100% unspun merino wool, which is non-superwash. Therefore, the yarn and the basket can also be felted. The yarn is available in several colors.
NOTE: The original design was made in a color that unfortunately is discontinued. We think that color 1009 could be a nice replacement. Just be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the color you like the most.
