Handball is one of the Danes' favorite sports, so of course you should have the opportunity to crochet a handball player from the Danish national team. This handball player is crocheted in Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is our classic cotton yarn with a running length of 170 meters per 50 grams. The yarn quality is available in many different colors, and you can also easily adapt the pattern so that the player is from one of the Danish handball clubs instead. B

Cotton yarn is particularly suitable for this type of crochet project, as cotton yarn is not very stretchy. This makes the doll more firm, so it holds its shape better, which is a great advantage. In addition, cotton is also machine washable.

The cute handball player can also be a great idea if, for example, you want to make a crocheted confirmation gift for a handball-loving confirmand. You can also change the hair if you are crocheting the doll for a girl.

NOTE: The original design is made in colors from Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic, which has unfortunately been discontinued.
