Sock knitting can be challenging for beginners, but once you've cracked the code, it won't take long to knit a new pair and the result is the most beautiful socks that fit perfectly on the foot and are wonderfully warm.

The pattern uses the followingMayflower HoneyBee sock yarn with a running length of 210 meters per 50 grams. At first glance, the yarn may seem like ordinary sock yarn, but HoneyBee is completely unique. Unusually, the yarn consists of 50% wool, 25% bamboo viscose and 25% polyamide.

You rarely see bamboo viscose in sock yarn, which is a shame. The bamboo viscose makes the yarn both softer and more durable. In addition, bamboo is a sustainable raw material as it is harvested every few months and does not need fertilizer.

If you haven't tried knitting socks before, we also recommend the BumbleBee Sock, which is knitted in a thicker yarn, which can make the project more manageable.
